Pick Channels Dialog

This dialog is shown if you try and load a data file with more than two channels of data, or if the Prompt on Import item on the overlays menu is checked. It displays the data channels available in the file, and the range of each. For some sources a possible name is displayed.

Each channel has an entry in the grid, with the minimum and maximum values displayed. To use each channel select one of:
Frequency The frequency channel (there must be only one of these). If none are selected, the point number is used for the frequency.
Intensity An intensity channel. Any number can be selected; each selected intensity channel results in a separate experimental plot on import. If none are selected, a line list is assumed.
Frequency Std Dev
A channel containing estimated standard deviations of the frequency. Currently, these are only used while peak measuring from line lists. If not wanted, do not select.
Intensity Std Dev A channel containing estimated standard deviations of the intensity. If not wanted, do not select.
The All button sets all unselected channels to "Intensity".
The NoneButton button turns off all selections.
